Stocking Stuffers for the Whole Family

We used to put all our effort into the presents under the tree, then just grab whatever riff-raff was hanging around the Target dollar aisle for stockings. We’d thrown in a last-minute treat and a lip balm or something for ourselves. But then we were left with a bunch of junk that broke or the kids got sick of before the day was over, and the kids started asking why Santa brought us such boring stockings. Now, we try to be more mindful of what we fill our stockings with. It’s so much more fun this way! Here are some suggestions I hope your family will love:

For Mom:

For the Kids:

    • Mini Bop It My kids were obsessed with this before we lost it.
    • Sparkle Playdough Even though its messy, I LOVE how long my kids will play with Playdough. And it’s so cheap!
    • Water beads These little babies provide hours of developmental play for kids.
    • Uno card game A classic! Our kids are obsessed with this game.
    • Slamwich Another simple card game our kids can’t get enough of.
    • Paint by Sticker I got these for my kids a couple years ago and they LOVE them. Perfect for church and rainy days.
  • Walkie Talkies These are good quality and so fun for indoor and outdoor play.

For Dad:

    • Nomad Old Spice deodorant I’m a sucker for a good-smelling man. I have a strange habit of smelling my husband’s armpits because they always smell so good. I know, I’m weird. I literally smelled every scent in the deodorant aisle at Target, and this was the winner. You’re welcome.
    • Magnetic phone mount for car He usually has his phone down on the seat between his legs and I just don’t think it’s safe. Or healthy. 😉
    • Subscription to the Dollar Shave Club I totally steal the razors and the dream shaving cream because I’ve never found a better razor or shaving cream in my life. The cedar wood body wash is amazing too!
    • Patterned Stance socks Clay has these and I love when he wears them. They add a fun pop of color to “serious” work/church pants.
    • Arvo watch Clay has this one and he looks so dapper when he wears it.
